The concept of Mari Vanna’s interior is rooted
in the original design of Maria Ivanovna’s
St. Petersburg apartment, where it was born.
It pays homage to the French roots of Russian
pre-Soviet era bourgeoise homes & the Soviet-era apartments of the creative intelligentsia.

To those for whom Eastern Europe was once a childhood home, the space is filled with knick- 
knacks that hold sentimental value — the matryoshkas, the vinyl players and radios,
the books and samovars, and the painted jewelry boxes.

The walls, adorned in layers of vintage wallpaper, with guests messages on them, are decorated
with antique art & photographs collected in
the flea market of Russia and Eastern Europe.
In the front room, Mari Vanna proudly displays
a small portion of its celebrity signed
antique plates.

The two dining rooms are separated by a full-
service bar, a favorite with the locals.
The custom-painted cabinetry carries
the theme of old children's tales that
the barmen will tell you about as you sip on
a signature cocktail.
